Art therapy is a gentle mode of healing work which celebrates strengths and creative expression for all. There is no pressure to talk if you don’t want to. Instead, I encourage self-expression in many forms, which might include painting, drawing, working with clay or creating with collage. You don’t have to be “good” at art to seek art therapy as a therapeutic support. 

Art therapy has the potential to support you through a whole range of experiences. These may be:

  • Feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, lack of motivation and depression

  • Life transitions

  • Existential questions – Who am I? Why am I here? What can I contribute?

  • Grief and loss

  • Life direction – career changes, life transitions

  • Childhood trauma

  • Acute trauma
